Andy’s Update

As we approach Pentecost, when the church celebrates the day the disciples were filled with the Spirit, completely transformed, and equipped to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of “Jerusalem, Judea and the ends of the earth” (Mt 28:20), let’s pray for God to fill us afresh with his Spirit, to renew and revive us, and equip us to be his witnesses. Please make use of the opportunity ahead to join in with Thy Kingdom Come, especially the prayer space in church. As we pray together over the next couple of weeks, may God meet with us, build his Kingdom in and through us.

Weekly Prayer Guide

Growing in God

Pray that through Thy Kingdom Come, God would deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ, that God’s spirit would work in the lives of those you know, and that you would realise that every aspect of your life is the stuff of prayer

Loving each other

Pray for our young people and those who work in schools, that they would have good rest in the half term break, and for those who are taking exams at the moment – for peace and the ability to do their best.

Serving our community

Pray for businesses in our community, that they would thrive.  Pray also for our those who work and serve in our local medical services, the library and community centre.

Bible Verse of the Week

Jesus replied, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I've given you authority to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.’

(Luke 10:18-20)
