Children’s Groups

At the centre of a wide community

At St Christopher’s we understand the importance of encouraging our children and young people in their faith. As you will see on the other pages in this section, there are a wide range of activities catering for the younger members of our church and the wider community. You do not need to be a member of the church family for your children to attend any of these groups or activities.

Connecting our children with God

On Sunday mornings, we have groups which seek to connect our children to God and to each other as a key part of our family.

Our vision is to 'Value, Nurture, Respect and Grow through God's Love.' Children are part of our Church family and so part of everything we do. Our aim to to make Sunday morning enjoyable for both children and families. We have lots of fun, games and activities whilst exploring about God and Jesus.

All Age

Once a month, on the 1st Sunday of the month, we have an All Age Service for the whole St. Christopher’s family.

Scramblers, Explorers & Pathfinders

The youngest of our children (ages 0-5) learn through play, songs and appropriate Christian teaching.

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 become involved in a range of activities that explore Bible stories, specific religious days and develop their own faith through discussion, art and craft activities, worship songs and friendships.

Children that are 12 and over have opportunities to grow further in their faith by discussing issues affecting our world today and developing a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian.
